Welcome to Oxford Brookes Students’ Union, an organisation led by students like you to represent the needs and views of fellow students.

I am fortunate enough in having been a past Society President to have had my fair share of experience working with the Students’ Union, as well as volunteering amongst many other things. Now I’m the one writing an introduction for those of you who will be involved in the future of this Students’ Union. This tells me no matter where you start off at the Union, the possibility of progression is limitless.

Your role is crucial in making our Union work the best way it can for you, the students. You are the predominant contact with students - you get to work for them, with them and serve them, which is why we need you to help us. You will talk to hundreds of students a week and become recognised as the friendly faces of the Students’ Union and the Executive Committee appreciates all the hard work you do. We’re here to make sure you always have fun, enjoy your job and remain happy throughout your time working here. In the very unlikely event this doesn’t happen, feel free to come and find one of the Executive Officers, who you will meet throughout the year, and we will do everything in our power to rectify the problem. We’re here to support you and you are here to support us – I look forward to a strong partnership which will send a positive message to everyone about our Students’ Union.
