- To chair all meetings of members and meetings of the Students Council

| Main Duties |
- Attend and chair all meetings of members.
- Attend and chair all meetings of the Students Council.
- Convene committees, Working Parties and Scrutiny Panels as appropriate.
- Report all actions and decisions to the membership, in an appropriate format
|
| In carrying out these duties, the post-holder must: |
- Make themselves aware of the Union’s constitution and current policies;
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure that the Union’s constitution and policies, together with all relevant legislation are upheld in all the Union’s activities;
- Comply with all elements of the Union’s financial regulations
